India · Temple Hair Origin

Indian hair wholesale, selected before it becomes a product.

Most temple hair sold into Europe and America is bought in bulk, mixed and stored before it ever sees a factory. At the largest temples, fallen hair is swept back in with the good, then baled for weeks — so dyed fibre, virgin fibre, short cuts and long cuts all travel together. That is why Italian and European manufacturers repeatedly fight inconsistency from Indian supply. We work differently.

  • Hand-selected virgin Indian hair from smaller temples that keep lots whole instead of mixing roots and ends together.
  • 300–500 kg per month — not industrial tonnage — so every lot stays traceable and hand-checked.
  • Colour-separated at collection: brown virgin hair for bleaching, darker hair for black and brown shades.
  • Cuticle-aligned remy wefts, K-Tips, hand-tied and Genius Wefts made in our own Indian plant.
  • 300g per shade, two colours minimum — 1 kg total — factory pricing without container-load commitments.
  • Full export paperwork for the USA, Canada, UK and EU handled in-house.

RemyPatra Hair Group

How we supply it.

Smaller temples, tighter control

We do not chase the cheapest tonnage. We collect from smaller temples inside the states where hair is kept in its own lot, roots and ends the same way round, and log each lot before it is washed or blended. Very large auction temples such as Tirupati Balaji move volume that is far harder to keep separated.

Colour sorting at source

Brown virgin hair lifts cleanly to developed blondes. Darker hair stays in its natural shade range. Forcing the wrong starting colour to blonde is where mass manufacturers ruin Indian hair.

Owned processing

Washing, colouring and wefting happen at our own factory in Manipur, India, so the lot you approved is the lot we make.

Buyer Questions

Straight answers.

What is wrong with mass-market temple hair?

At large temples, hair that falls on the floor is often swept up and mixed back in with the cut hair. It can sit in storage for weeks, develop odour, and arrive as a blend of dyed, virgin, short and long fibre. That mixture is why so many European and Italian manufacturers struggle with inconsistency from Indian supply.

How is RemyPatra's sourcing different?

We hand-select virgin Indian hair from smaller temples and collection points where lots are kept whole and roots and ends are not mixed together, which is common at very large auction temples such as Tirupati Balaji. We collect 300–500 kg per month rather than industrial tonnage, so every lot stays traceable, hand-selected and sorted by colour before it reaches our factory.

Why does hair colour matter at collection?

Brown virgin hair lifts cleanly to blonde. Dark hair forced to blonde through harsh bleaching breaks down and tangles. We separate by natural shade at source — brown lots for bleaching and colour development, darker lots for black and brown finished shades.

What is the minimum order for Indian hair wholesale?

300g per shade and length, minimum two colours — 1 kg total across the order. That is deliberately low for a factory so a single salon or new distributor can buy at the same price a large importer pays.

Do you ship Indian hair to the USA, Canada, UK and Europe?

Yes. Express air freight runs 3–6 days door to door to the USA, Canada, the UK and the EU, with commercial invoices, HS codes and origin documents prepared by us.

Can you supply Indian hair under my own brand?

Yes — Private label and OEM from 10 kg, including your packaging, your shade codes and your weft labels. We are the factory, so there is no supplier who can quietly launch a brand against you.

Talk to the factory, not a reseller.

Send us the textures, lengths and shades you actually sell. We will quote factory-direct, ship a sample kit, and let the hair make the argument.

Professional ordering

Start your first wholesale order.

Professional salons already know their preferred methods, colours, lengths and client demand. Start with the volume your salon already needs.

Independent salons

1kg

Start with the product and shade mix your current clients already need.

Growing salons

1–2kg

Build a working colour and length range around regular appointments.

Established high-demand salons

3–5kg+

Plan repeat supply against your monthly installation volume.

The smallest professional order is 1kg total. Product and shade mix are agreed before quotation. Wholesale supply is quoted to one written specification.

Why we do not sell 100g trial bundles

We have deliberately moved away from the 100–200g sample model. A single bundle is installed on one or two clients, so one experience becomes the whole judgement of the product. It shows nothing about how a shade repeats, how two batches compare, or how the hair behaves after repeated washing in a working salon.

A 1kg commercial trial covers roughly ten to twelve client applications across two shades. It gives you feedback from paying clients, a view of consistency across a meaningful quantity, and a proper read on how the product performs in your market. The hair in a 1kg trial is taken from the same sorting tables as a 20kg production run, so there is no separate sample standard to be disappointed by later.

We are the manufacturer, not a trading desk placing bundles with twenty buyers at once. We work with established salons, extension specialists, distributors and brands who already know their methods, lengths and shades, and who want one accountable source instead of a continuous supplier search.

Next step

Start wholesale ordering.

Our supply desk answers within one working day. Send a specification or a competitor quote and you get a like-for-like answer, not a brochure.

How we sell, before you ask.

1kg+

First wholesale order. Product and shade mix agreed before quotation.

3–10kg

Wholesale band, quoted per specification.

10kg+

Private label with your own packaging.

50kg+

Monthly distributor programme with held reference lot.

Every quote we send is already the net factory price for that specification and quantity. There is no retail markup to discount from, so we do not run percentage discounts — the price moves only when the specification or the quantity moves.

Tell us your kilos per month when you write. It is the one line that changes the quote. Express air freight is usually 3–6 days door to door.

Or send a short enquiry.

For buyers who prefer email, or who cannot use WhatsApp right now. Six fields, no account, no questionnaire. We reply with a factory-level quotation based on your present buying needs.

The difference

Our Indian hair is unique and special. Just like our company.

What goes wrong at mass scale

At the biggest temples, the sheer volume means priests and ground staff cannot separate fallen floor hair from properly tonsured cut hair. It is collected in sacks, stored for weeks, and sold to traders who mix multiple sources together. By the time it reaches a European or Italian factory, it already contains dyed ends, reverse-direction fibre, broken cuticles and moisture-related odour. That is the material that gives Indian temple hair a bad name.

How we keep it clean

We work as aggregators at a scale we can actually control — 300 to 500 kg per month. Our teams visit smaller temples inside the states, select the collection, and separate by natural colour before the hair ever leaves the temple town. Brown virgin lots are reserved for bleaching and colour development. Darker lots are kept for natural black and brown finished shades. The classification happens first, because the wrong starting colour cannot be saved by chemistry later.

Volume

Not tons. Traceable kilograms.

Industrial tonnage becomes a mass-market commodity. We stay small enough to know what is in every bag.

Selection

Hand-selected at collection.

Floor-sweepings and reverse-direction hair are rejected before they enter our chain.

Classification

Right colour. Right process.

Brown virgin for blonde development. Darker lots for natural shades. No forcing dark hair to blonde.
