The Factory Advantage

Our factory producing your orders.

We own our factory in Manipur, India, and work in the supply chain ourselves. Your order is sorted, coloured, wefted and packed under our own roof by our own people. You deal with the manufacturer, not a trading desk.

Production questions

The questions serious buyers should ask.

Origin, drawn fullness, finishing chemistry and where each process happens should be written down before a trial is approved. These are our direct answers.

Where does your highest-grade Indian hair come from, and is it collected as intact ponytails?

Our premium Indian selection is collected as intact ponytails so root and tip remain together. The source and collection channel are recorded against the lot, then the hair is opened, graded and sorted at our Manipur factory. We declare origin for the lot supplied rather than applying one origin claim to every product.

What Double Drawn percentage do you offer?

Double Drawn is not precise enough on its own. The correct specification states the agreed fullness through the length and the acceptable amount of shorter hair. We confirm that target for the chosen length and grade in writing, show the finished profile, and retain the approved piece for reorders rather than claiming one percentage for every product.

Can you manufacture strictly silicone-free blonde hair?

Yes. Our highest-grade blonde specification is made without silicone or a temporary cosmetic coating used to disguise damaged fibre. Silicone-free is written into the order specification and checked as part of the final acceptance standard.

How do you make very light blondes such as #60 and #60A?

We develop light blondes through measured, staged lightening with condition checks between stages, followed by controlled colouring, washing and drying. The starting level and exact process depend on the approved raw lot, so those details are stated for the buyer's batch rather than turned into one catalogue-wide claim.

Do you use acid baths, cuticle stripping, textile dyes or metallic dyes?

For a serious buyer, this question belongs in the written production declaration. We state the process used for the exact line being quoted and do not substitute a vague 'premium' label for that disclosure. Our highest-grade Remy and blonde specifications are built around retained cuticle direction and a silicone-free finish; any additional restricted substance requirement must be written into the approved specification before production.

Which production stages happen inside RemyPatra's own facility?

Sorting, washing, drawing, bleaching and colouring, weft construction, finishing and final quality checks are carried out by RemyPatra in our Indian facility. That is how one written specification can remain accountable from the opened ponytail lot to the packed order.

Can we see the production process before placing a larger order?

Yes. Qualified buyers can request a live video call covering the sorting tables, colour work, Genius Weft construction and final quality checks. We can also record close-up evidence against the buyer's order reference when the relevant stage is running.

Inside Our Factory

Our factory running your order.

We work in the supply chain. Your order is made on our factory, checked by our people, and packed for you. No trading desk, no middleman — we are the manufacturer.

Tagged In Production

Every lot carries its own tag.

Product, length, colour, texture, weight, cuticle percentage, thickness, shine and smoothness — written by the person who checked the lot, tied to the hair, and photographed before it leaves us.

The People Behind It

One team. One standard.

The same hands sort, check, tag and pack every order. Training never stops, because consistency is a skill, not a promise.

Our own team, in our own factory — trained on one specification, so the hair you approve is the hair that ships, every time.

Colour & Washing Lab

Where colour is made slowly.

Every blonde and every custom shade passes through our own washing bay and drying cabinets. Solution is measured, time is watched and drying is controlled, so the hair keeps its strength instead of being forced light in one harsh step.

Measured solution, timed washing and slow controlled drying — the reason our blondes keep their strength instead of giving up in six to eight months.

These colour-lab photographs and the production photographs below are from our Manipur factory. Manipur is strategically placed for access to specialist technology and production inputs from the wider Asian supply network, while giving us a strong local workforce and experienced operations management. It lets us keep colour development, construction and inspection close together under one accountable team.

Trading desks can send different hair than the sample.

With a middleman, the sample you see may not be the hair in the box. We do not work that way.

We run our own factory.

Our people are on the factory while your order is sorted, drawn, coloured, wefted and packed.

We control the hair and the chemistry.

The raw hair, the colour formulas and the machines are ours. There is no third party between the lot and your box.

You buy direct from the factory.

You pay the factory price, not a brand markup.

We check every lot by hand.

Years on the sorting tables. Cuticle direction, root ratio, damage and short blends are caught before they reach you.

Salons and unions trust us.

Because someone they trust is standing in the room where their hair is made.

“Remy or non-Remy is not a certificate. It is a judgement made by a hand that has done it for years — standing at the table, while the hair is still loose.”

The Moat

Four things we own that they can't.

We own the factory in India

A brand-owned competitor buys sorted hair from a vendor. We employ the sorters, run the colour lab, and control the weft line at our India factory. Every shade rejection and cuticle-alignment call is made by someone on our payroll.

Every stage stays under one roof

Sorting, washing, drawing, colour and construction all run inside our own Indian facility. No outsourced dye house, no anonymous subcontractor — one team owns the spec, the QC and the final sign-off.

You can check before you commit

Order a sample kit, ask for a live video call during production, or visit the factory in Manipur by appointment.

One accountable chain

Collection is contracted through long-standing collector networks; everything after it — sorting, washing, drawing, colour and construction — runs on our own Indian factory, then final checks before packing. One approved specification, one accountable commercial relationship. We do not claim to own the collection, and we do not hide who does what.

What A Brand-Only Supplier Cannot Match

Six structural gaps.

Price

They pay factory + brand markup. We are the factory. Structural — not a discount they can match.

Speed

Their custom colour route goes through a third-party dye house. Ours runs inside our own colour lab in India.

Consistency

They shift factories every 18 months chasing margin. Our sorters have been on the factory for 8 years.

Private label

They can't OEM. Their supplier would build a competing brand overnight. We can — because we are the supplier.

Traceability

They can name a country. We record the lot behind your order so a reorder can be matched to it.

Reorder confidence

Their stock-outs are their supplier's decision. Ours are ours. That single fact changes a salon's whole calendar.

The Overtake

Same standard, factory price, our own building.

A brand can rebrand. A brand can raise a round. A brand cannot become a factory in less than a decade. The next ten years of premium extensions belong to the house that owns its own hands — and this family has been in the hair trade since the 1990s.
