Who we are · Part one of three

We are RemyPatra.
The house behind other people's brands.

We make Remy human hair extensions for salons, distributors and private-label brands — and we stay out of their market.

What we make

Remy hair, defined the way a factory has to define it.

Almost every supplier in this industry writes the word Remy on the pack. Very few will tell you what it obliges them to do on the factory.

Remy means the cuticle layer of every strand still faces the same way — root at the root end, tip at the tip end. That is decided by hand, in sorting, before anything is washed, coloured or sewn. Once direction is lost it cannot be recovered by any chemical or machine; it can only be hidden by silicone that washes out in your client's shower.

Double drawn means the short strands have been pulled out so the bundle keeps its thickness all the way to the ends. It consumes more raw hair per kilo, so it costs more. We charge for it where it exists and we do not print it where it does not.

Those two decisions — direction and draw — are where extension quality is actually won. Everything after them is finishing.

Our manifesto

Six commitments we can be held to.

Written as obligations, not slogans. Each one can be tested against an order you place with us.

We are the backend, never the rival

We do not open salons and we do not compete with the businesses we supply. Our commercial interest is your reorder, not your market.

Remy means Remy

Cuticles aligned root to tip, in one direction, as the hair grew. If a lot does not hold that after processing, it does not leave the factory as Remy.

Double drawn where we say double drawn

Short strands removed so the bundle carries the same weight at the ends as at the top. It is slower and costs more hair. We price it honestly rather than mislabel single drawn.

No certificate we have not earned

We hold no badge we cannot produce on request. Instead we offer inspection: our factory, our records, our lots, in front of you.

One founder signs the standard

Raaj Prince Singh inspects lots personally. If a batch is wrong, there is one name to hold responsible, and he answers on WhatsApp.

Price is arithmetic, not theatre

We sell manufacturer-direct. What you pay covers hair, labour, colour, construction and freight. Nothing is added to defend a retail illusion.

Our quality position

Inspection instead of insignia.

Some competitors lead with certification logos. We respect that route, and one day we may take it. Today we will not print a badge we do not hold, so we offer the harder thing instead: come and look, unannounced within working hours, at the factory where your hair is being made.

Until a buyer stands on a factory, every quality claim in this industry is a sentence on a website — including ours.

  • ✓Raw material judged before purchase, not after processing
  • ✓Cuticle direction protected through sorting, hackling and wefting
  • ✓Controlled slow colour development instead of forced lifts
  • ✓Weight and length verified on finished goods, not estimated
  • ✓Batch record kept for every production lot we ship
  • ✓Retained reference sample held so a reorder can be matched

Who we supply

Four kinds of buyer, one standard.

Salons and stylists

Extension specialists who need the same shade and the same behaviour on every reorder, because their client is sitting in the chair expecting last time's result.

Distributors

Regional partners buying 3–10 kg programmes who need predictable lead times and a supplier who will not sell around them to their own accounts.

Private-label brands

Founders building their own name from 10 kg upward, using our production, our colour library and their packaging. Their brand, our factory.

Wig and topper makers

Wig and topper workshops that need traceable single-donor and collector-direct material with the cuticle intact for hand-tied work.

The people

A family business, still run by the family.

The trade began with buying and grading raw human hair in the 1990s. Manufacturing came afterwards, built to protect material we already knew how to judge. That order matters: a factory built before the knowledge processes whatever it is sold. Raaj Prince Singh leads the house today and inspects lots himself.
