The RemyPatra Professional Hair Standard · Version 1.0

A price is not a specification.

Most suppliers answer a buyer with a number. We answer with a document. This is the standard every RemyPatra professional order is built and tested against — published openly so a buyer can hold us to it, compare us against it, and audit any batch that does not meet it.

Version 1.0 · maintained by RemyPatra Industries · superseded versions remain available to account holders.

Part One

What must be declared.

Declaration comes before measurement. A specification is only meaningful if the material behind it is described honestly.

Declared origin
Country and collection region stated per lot. No blended-origin marketing language.
Collection type
Temple auction, direct-cut, collector-pooled or commercial — named, not implied.
Cuticle direction
Aligned single-direction, or declared non-aligned. Machine weft alone is never treated as proof.
Processing history
Depigmentation and colour steps recorded with duration and temperature band.
Silicone / coating
Declared present or absent. Coated hair is never sold as raw or unprocessed.

Part Two

What must be measured.

Every figure below is recorded per batch and written onto the Batch Passport that travels with the order.

Short-hair percentage
Measured on a weighed sub-sample and recorded per batch.
Drawn ratio
Single, double or full double drawn, stated as measured — not as a marketing grade.
Length tolerance
Stated nominal length with recorded minimum length in the lot.
Weight tolerance
Net weight per bundle or weft recorded after conditioning.
Colour tolerance
Matched against the retained reference chip, with deviation noted.
Moisture level
Checked before packing so weight is hair, not water.
Weft shedding
Seam tested under a defined pull and comb sequence before dispatch.
Tip dimension & weight
K-Tip bond size and strand weight recorded per production run.
Bond composition
Keratin type and supplier recorded for every bonded product.

Part Three

How it is tested.

01

Wash-test protocol

A sample from the batch is washed through a repeat cycle and re-assessed for tangle, matting and lift. Coated hair fails here, not on arrival.

02

Comb-test protocol

Dry and wet comb passes from mid-length and from root, recording resistance and shed weight.

03

Colourfastness protocol

Wash-down behaviour of coloured lots checked against the reference chip before the batch is released.

04

Retained sample protocol

A physical sample of every dispatched batch is retained and referenced by batch number, so a later complaint is examined against the hair actually shipped.

05

Batch resolution protocol

A reported issue is investigated against the retained sample and the recorded QC sheet. The finding is written down and shared, whether it favours us or not.

06

RepeatMatch standard

Reorders are matched to the original batch record — origin category, processing route and colour reference — so the fifth order is built to the same specification as the first.

Part Four

The Batch Passport.

Every professional order carries a passport. It is the difference between believing a supplier and being able to check one.

·Batch number
·Origin category
·Processing date
·Colour code
·Length and weight
·Construction type
·QC measurements
·Inspector
·Batch photography
·Retained-sample reference

Scope and honesty

What this standard is not.

Not a certification badge

This is our own published specification, maintained by us. It is not an external accreditation and we do not present it as one.

Not a guarantee of perfection

Batches fail. When one fails, it is recorded as failed and does not ship. The value is in the record, not in a claim that failure never happens.

Not fixed

Version 1.0 will be revised as test data accumulates. Changes are versioned, dated and shared with account holders rather than quietly edited.
