Ordering and minimums
- What is the minimum order for wholesale hair extensions?
- At RemyPatra the first order is 1kg total, from 300g per shade. Wholesale runs from 3 kg to 10 kg. Private label and OEM start at 10 kg. Distributor programmes start at 50 kg per month.
- Can I order a sample before committing?
- Yes. Order a trial in the two shades you sell most, wash it, colour it and install it on a real client. Keep the approved piece. We hold the matching reference sample, so every reorder is measured against the hair you accepted.
- How are prices quoted?
- Per specification rather than published, because shade, length, drawn grade and quantity all move the number. Send the product, shades, lengths and monthly quantity and the supply desk replies within one working day.
- How long does delivery take?
- Sample kits dispatch in 1 to 3 working days. Stock shades in trial and wholesale quantities usually dispatch in 5 to 10 working days. Air freight is 3 to 6 days door to door with export paperwork prepared by us.
- Which countries do you ship to?
- Worldwide, including the USA, Canada, the UK, the EU, Australia, the Gulf, Africa and South America.
Product and quality
- What is Genius Weft and how is it different from a hand-tied weft?
- Genius Weft is an ultra-thin machine-sealed weft that can be cut anywhere without unravelling, which removes the need to seal or return the ends. A hand-tied weft is thinner still and has no return hair, but must be installed as a full row. Genius Weft suits stylists who want flexibility in row length.
- What does Remy and cuticle aligned actually mean?
- Remy means every strand runs root to tip in the same direction. Cuticle aligned means that alignment survives processing. Hair that is not aligned tangles at the mid-lengths after a few washes, which is why acid-bath stock is cheap and short-lived.
- What is the difference between single drawn and double drawn hair?
- Single drawn contains a mix of lengths, so the ends look naturally tapered and the weight drops toward the bottom. Double drawn has the shorter strands removed, so thickness is carried all the way to the ends. Double drawn costs more because more hair is discarded to make it.
- How can I test hair quality myself?
- Wash the sample ten times without conditioner and look for tangling at the mid-lengths. Bleach a small section and check for even lift. Rub the hair between wet fingers to feel for silicone coating that washes away. Hold two lots side by side under daylight.
- What lengths and colours are available?
- Weft and strand lines run 14 to 26 inches depending on the product, and bulk Indian Remy runs 12 to 30 inches. The shade library holds over 60 colours including fashion shades, highlights and ombre blends, and custom shades are matched from a swatch.
Origin and manufacturing
- Where does RemyPatra's hair come from?
- Raw material is declared per lot. RemyPatra works with temple auctions and collector-direct supply in India, and with collectors in other markets for Slavic and European textures. Origin is stated for the batch you buy rather than as a blanket claim for the whole catalogue.
- Does RemyPatra own its factory?
- Yes. Sorting, washing, colouring and weft finishing happen on RemyPatra's own lines in India, with our own quality control checking each lot before packing.
- Who founded RemyPatra Hair Group?
- Raj Prince Singh, who has been manufacturing hair extensions since 2015 and runs the business today.
- Is Indian hair better than Chinese or Vietnamese hair?
- None is automatically better. Indian hair is naturally fine to medium with a soft wave and lifts well for blondes. What matters more than the country on a listing is who controlled the sorting and colouring and whether they can show you a lot record for your batch.
- How do I verify a supplier is the manufacturer and not a reseller?
- Ask for photographs of the sorting tables with your order reference visible, a lot record for the batch, and a bleach test on the exact shade you buy. Ask to visit. A reseller cannot supply any of the three.
Private label and distribution
- Does RemyPatra do private label manufacturing?
- Yes, from 10 kg. Your own packaging, labelling and specification, manufactured on our lines and shipped under your brand. Your written specification travels with every reorder.
- Can I become a distributor in my country?
- Distributor programmes start at 50 kg per month. The conversation covers territory, the shade range you will hold, reorder cadence and freight, and it starts with a trial so both sides know the hair performs before volume is committed.
- Does RemyPatra sell to end consumers or compete with its buyers?
- No. RemyPatra is business to business only, supplying salons, stylists, distributors and brands. We are a backend manufacturing partner and we never compete with salons for their clients.
- How do I switch supplier without disrupting my clients?
- Send a swatch of what you buy now with the shade code. We match it, tell you honestly where our hair behaves differently, and you run a trial alongside your existing stock before changing anything for clients.
