Know your market

We know all.

Every market plays a game with someone else's hair. Turkey, Asia, Russia, the USA, the UK — they buy our region's hair, blend it, rename it, and sell the story of the source back to you. Some of them talk Indian manufacturing down while filling their boxes with Indian hair.

We do not tell the story. We are it. Read this page and you will buy hair better anywhere in the world — including from people who are not us.

The Turkish Game

Impressed by Turkish hair? No problem — we make the same shades at better quality, and we will tell you exactly how their game works.

01

The middleman markup

Turkey grows very little hair of its own. Much of what it sells is bought from cheaper Asian nations, quietly re-labelled and resold. The price you pay covers a middleman, not a manufacturer.

02

The quality they hide

Behind the polish sits evasive, low-grade bleaching and dyeing on medium-quality, often non-Remy hair. The origin is kept vague on purpose, because the answer would not justify the price.

03

The whisper campaign

In the buying nations they talk down every other supplier to protect their margin. It is a sales tactic, not a verdict on quality, and once you know the sourcing it loses its power.

The "Iranian" & "Russian" myth

They chase and sell fake Iranian and fake Russian hair when it is all Asian medium-grade or non-Remy stock — a genuine name on a fictional origin. We do not play that game: what we call baby hair, virgin Remy, or a developed Slavic look is exactly, honestly, what it is.

Same shades. Honest origin. Genuinely better quality.

The Asian Game

Volume, speed and low prices — with one detail left out: where the good hair actually comes from.

01

Machine Remy, not raw

Machine Remy is mixed head-hair pooled from 3,000–5,000 people. Not every strand can lift to #613, so after bleaching and dyeing 20–30% comes out weak and over-processed.

02

The real hair leaves raw

The genuine direct-cut, single-donor hair they receive is sold onward as raw material to premium brands elsewhere. The buyer at the low end rarely sees it; they get the processed volume grade.

03

Weak strands, 4–5 months

That weak 20–30% sheds and breaks off within 4–5 months, once the coating washes out and the stripped cuticle gives way. Tangling, matting and thinning land squarely on your reputation.

Go to the source

We are that source. The direct-cut Indian hair they resell as raw material is the hair we manufacture from, in-house, start to finish. Cut direct from villages across India and neighbouring nations: single-donor, one head at a time, cuticle intact and aligned. No pooling, no acid stripping, no silicone mask.

Buy the origin, not the middle.

$300–400
Step 01 · India

Bought as non-Remy. Leaves India cheap, unnamed and unaccounted for.

$800–1,500
Step 02 · Asia

Sold as "Vietnamese virgin" or another Asian label — the same hair, rebranded at a substantial premium.

$2,000–2,500
Step 03 · Resellers

Renamed again in Europe and the Gulf, on nothing but a story.

$800–900
Step 04 · RemyPatra

Our raw cost before a single process: full cuticle, single-donor, named honestly. Finished, it runs $1,500–2,000.

The Russian "Luxury" Game

The word "elite" does a lot of work here. The sourcing tells a different story.

01

Elite label, borrowed hair

They market themselves as elite and luxury, but buy from Vietnamese and other suppliers: the same machine Remy, or bleached hair sourced from India, Burma, Vietnam and China with substandard technology.

02

Finished hair at $3,000+

That hair is re-badged as premium and sold finished at $3,000/kg and up — a price built on a name rather than on quality, which troubles buyers across the whole market.

03

Not built for large orders

Supply is thin and inconsistent, so volume orders are unreliable. The dealing tends to be manipulative and pushy — a difficult fit for buyers who value respect, consistency and professional manners.

A calmer way to buy

We are the source, not a reseller wearing a luxury label. Honest origin, honest grade, steady supply for large and repeat orders. Our Slavic look is developed openly from fine baby hair, at a fair, transparent price — never sold as a fictional origin.

Class is honesty, not a markup.

16–18
Months of lead time

How scarce genuine raw Slavic hair really is.

$2,000
Sold as "Russian"

Per kg, for hair that is rarely Russian at all.

The Indian Game

We hold our own country's trade to the same standard. This is why we exist.

01

Hoarded temple hair

A handful of agent families hoard temple hair and sell it on to other nations. Most Indian manufacturers cannot get much of it, leaving them short of the very material their reputation rests on.

02

Mixed and blended down

So they stretch it, blending temple hair with non-Remy stock in the hackles. Add poor bleaching science, weak hygiene and thin customer service, and the quality is inconsistent at best.

03

We source direct

Unlike them, we buy direct from auctions, and from agent families when needed, so our temple and direct-cut hair stays pure, single-origin and unblended, start to finish.

Why RemyPatra exists

We came into this business seeing exactly these mediocrities, and one question no one would answer: if the Italians can bleach and dye Indian hair to this standard, why can it not be done in India, direct at the source? So we built it. Many tried to boycott us, played games, pushed back. We stayed tough and outlasted every one of them.

We fixed what the market would not.

Know your market

The USA & UK Game

The most trusted names in the West often sell the least trustworthy hair. We name no companies here — the market already knows them.

01

The name is the product

American, British and European labels with beautiful packaging and enormous marketing budgets, buying the cheapest non-Remy hair available and selling it as premium.

02

No cuticle, no future

Acid-stripped and silicone-coated, the cuticle is gone before it ever reaches the chair. It looks perfect in the box, and for the first few washes only.

03

Four to six months, then trouble

Once the coating washes out it tangles, mats and sheds, damaging the client's own hair and landing the complaint on the stylist, never on the brand.

Who actually pays

Not the brand. The stylist loses the client, the client loses her own hair, and the salon absorbs the refund and the reputation. We have spent years cleaning up after this hair. It is the reason we insist on full cuticle, always, with nothing to hide behind.

Buy the cuticle, not the campaign.

01
Ask in writing

02
Ask in writing

What is the draw grade — single, or what percentage double drawn?

03
Ask in writing

Is the cuticle intact and aligned, or has it been stripped and coated?

Show wear at ninety days. Not a swatch — a client. Keep the replies.

The Italian Comparison

This is the one market we measure ourselves against honestly, because they buy the same hair we do, and they finish it properly.

01

The same origin as ours

Italy grows almost no hair for extensions. The good factories buy genuine Indian raw material — the same grade we buy, at around the same $800 a kilo.

02

Real work, fairly credited

Their finishing is genuinely good and we say so. By the time the hair is sorted, coloured and wefted, their cost lands near $2,000 a kilo, much like ours.

03

Then the label is added

The same kilo leaves Italy at around $5,000. Everything above cost is the address on the box, not the hair inside it.

Same base, different ticket

We are not claiming to beat Italian craft — we are pointing out that the craft is not the difference in price. Same Indian origin, comparable production cost, and a selling price more than double ours. You are paying for a passport.

Buy the work, not the address.

Why RemyPatra wins.

01

We are the source

Direct from temple auctions and agent families: single-origin, unblended, start to finish. No middleman, no mystery stock, no markup on someone else's hair.

02

World-class colour, at the source

Italian-grade bleaching and dyeing science, done in India — the standard others import at a premium, delivered honestly where the hair is born.

03

Honest pricing that holds

We match the market where it is a commodity and command it where quality earns it, always below the resellers reselling our own region's hair back to you.

Sourced at the temple, coloured to Italian standard, and shipped by the people who own every step. Nothing leaves our factory that we would not put our own name beside. When you buy from us, you buy from where it begins.
