Toning and darkening
Toning cool or warm, and going darker, are generally safe on quality hair. Always strand-test first, because each batch holds colour slightly differently.
Lightening further
Extension hair has already been lightened. Taking it lighter again weakens it quickly. It is far better to order the shade you need from the start.
Why slow-lightened hair takes colour better
At our factory we lighten slowly, at low strength, using Italian bleaching methods. The cuticle stays closer to intact, so the hair takes toner evenly and keeps its shine.
