Documentation that prevents delays
A commercial invoice with accurate product description, weight, unit values and country of origin; a packing list matching it exactly; and an air waybill. Human hair products have their own tariff treatment — describe the goods precisely as human hair extensions rather than 'beauty products'.
Mismatches between invoice weight and actual weight are the single most common cause of inspection holds.
Freight and timing
Air freight is standard for hair: value density is high and volume is low. Expect 4–7 days transit plus clearance. Courier services handle small trade orders efficiently; larger consignments justify a freight forwarder.
Build clearance variability into your reorder planning rather than your promise to clients.
Landed cost, not invoice cost
Your real cost is invoice plus freight plus duty plus any broker fee. Ask your supplier for the shipped weight and declared values early so you can model it before you commit.
We quote FOB and can quote landed on request, so the comparison against a US-based distributor is honest rather than flattering to us.
Buyer Questions
Do you ship to the USA?
Yes, regularly, by air with full commercial documentation.
Who is the importer of record?
Normally you, as the buyer. We provide the documentation your broker needs.
