What you are actually buying
Three things: a specification you can defend, a shade library you can hold consistently, and packaging that survives shipping. The hair is the easy part. Shade consistency across repeat runs is what makes or breaks a young brand.
Start narrow. Four to six shades in two lengths, proven over three orders, beats twenty shades you cannot reproduce.
Cost structure, honestly
Your landed cost is hair plus construction plus colour plus packaging plus freight plus duty. Packaging setup is a one-time cost amortised over volume — which is why a 10kg opening programme is the sensible floor rather than an arbitrary barrier.
Beware quotes that exclude duty and freight. On light shades and long lengths those can move landed cost by a fifth.
We are your backend, never your rival
We do not sell to your clients, we do not publish your volumes, and we do not build a competing retail brand in your market. Your specification, packaging and shade names stay yours.
Founder inspection and a batch record accompany private-label runs exactly as they do our own, because your brand carries the complaint if a lot fails.
Buyer Questions
What is the private-label minimum?
10kg to open a programme, with 300g per shade (1kg total) inside it.
Do you sell to my customers directly?
No. We supply the hair; you own the client relationship. That is a fixed rule, not a courtesy.
