What the fibre is actually like
Genuine Slavic hair is fine, soft, low in density per strand and usually naturally light to mid brown. It processes with very little lift and behaves quite differently from Asian fibre, which is thicker in cross-section and darker at base.
If a supplier's 'Slavic' bundle is thick, coarse and lifted from a very dark base, you are looking at relabelled Asian hair — commonly good hair, wrongly named and wrongly priced.
Volume is the tell
Collection volumes in Eastern Europe are small. A supplier who can ship unlimited Slavic hair in any length and shade on demand is not constrained by a real supply, which means the supply is not real.
Ask about availability limits. An honest supplier of genuinely scarce material will describe scarcity.
What we say about it
We source European-origin hair in limited quantities and we say so plainly rather than offering unlimited availability. When Indian or Burmese fibre is the better fit for a client's texture and budget, we say that too, and lose the premium sale.
Origin claims should be verifiable at lot level or not made at all.
Buyer Questions
Do you sell Slavic hair?
In limited quantities, honestly labelled, with availability constraints stated up front.
How do I verify origin?
Fibre diameter, natural base level and behaviour under lift tell you more than any certificate. Ask for the lot record too.
