From intake to lot number
Hair arrives as intact ponytails, tied at the root so direction is kept. Each intake is logged with its source category and given a lot number before any washing or sorting.
From then on, the lot number stays with the hair through sorting, drawing, colour and construction.
What a lot record shows
Source category, processing steps, colour process and target level, construction, length and weight, the shade reference it was checked against, and the dispatch date.
It does not need to name individual donors. It needs to show that the hair you received is the hair that was recorded.
Why it matters for reorders
Most salon complaints are not about the first order. They are about the third order not matching the first. A lot record and a retained reference strand are how a manufacturer keeps reorders consistent.
Buyer Questions
Can I see the lot record for my order?
Yes. We supply the lot number with every order, and buyers can ask for the record and photos of their order on our sorting tables.
Is all Indian hair temple hair?
No. Indian hair comes from temples and from collectors. What matters is that it is kept in root-to-tip direction and recorded honestly.
