Commercial Machine Remy · Volume programmes
Commercial Machine Remy, produced to one written standard.
Most of the professional hair sold in the world is Commercial Machine Remy: multi-donor hair, cuticle-aligned, processed in volume. The grade is not the problem. The problem is that almost nobody controls it. We treat it as an engineered product — sorted before colour, developed slowly, batch-recorded, and matched against a retained reference on every repeat order. That is the RemyPatra Professional Standard, and it is what you are actually buying from us.
- Cuticle intact and aligned root to tip — no acid stripping, no silicone coating to hide tangle.
- Sorted by diameter and length before any colour is developed, so a fine strand never sits beside a coarse one.
- Single drawn, 50–70% double drawn and full double drawn, written into the specification before production.
- Available as Genius Weft, machine weft, hand-tied rows, tape-in, K-Tip, I-Tip, nano tips and bulk.
- Batch records and a retained reference sample for every approved shade, so the fifth order matches the first.

Setting a higher standard.
Our purpose is to set a higher standard for professional hair extensions — exceptional hair, uncompromising consistency and effortless partnership for the world's finest salons. True quality is the confidence of receiving the same excellence, time after time.
We build enduring relationships through discretion, empathy, accountability and integrity, protecting the reputation behind every salon we serve. We shape our craft around our partners and their ambitions, never the other way around.
RemyPatra Hair Group
How we supply it.
Multi-donor, not anonymous
Pooled hair only becomes unreliable when nobody sorts it. We separate by fibre diameter, length and prior condition before colour, and reject the lots that will not survive lifting. What is left behaves like one hair, because it was made to.
Cuticle direction is the whole grade
Remy means every cuticle runs the same way. Non-Remy commercial hair runs both ways, so it is stripped with acid and coated to stop it matting. It looks identical in the bundle and fails at wash four. We do not produce or resell coated hair.
Colour developed slowly
Blondes are lifted over days in long, low-strength baths rather than forced in an afternoon. Fast lifting sells the first order and loses the client in month six. Slow development is the reason our #613 and ash bases still behave after a winter of heat styling.
Constructions, from one hair
Genius Weft for cuttable rows, machine weft for strength at volume, hand-tied for fine density, tape for speed, K-Tip and I-Tip for strand work, bulk if you manufacture yourself. Same graded hair, your choice of build.
Drawn ratio, in writing
Single drawn, 50–70% double drawn or full double drawn. This is where most suppliers quietly downgrade a reorder. Yours is recorded in the specification and checked at QC before packing.
Batch records and retained references
Every run is recorded: lot, ratio, recipe, development time, construction and QC sign-off, with the approved sample kept here. When you reorder in eight months, we are matching hair, not memory.
Sample testing we expect you to do
Ten washes, iron between them, wet-weigh, wet-brush, then a small repeat order compared side by side with the first. We would rather you test us properly at 500g than discover something at 10kg.
Wholesale and private label
Trial at 300g per shade (1kg total) across two shades, wholesale from 3kg to 10kg, and your own brand and packaging from 10kg — on the same line and the same specification you approved during trial.
Origin declared separately
Raw-material origin is stated accurately per lot, and the manufacturing country appears on invoices, customs paperwork and compliance records. What you buy from us is the RemyPatra specification and quality system, applied consistently.
Buyer Questions
Straight answers.
What is Commercial Machine Remy hair?
Hair collected in volume from many donors, then sorted, cuticle-aligned by machine and processed as one controlled programme. It is not raw single-donor hair and we never sell it as such. It is the grade most professional wefts, tapes and bulk programmes in the world are actually built from.
How is it different from single-donor hair?
Single-donor hair comes from one head, so texture and density are naturally uniform and the volume available is small and expensive. Commercial Machine Remy pools many donors, so consistency has to be engineered: sorting by diameter and length before colour, one written recipe per shade, and a retained reference sample the next batch is matched against.
Is the cuticle intact?
Yes, on our Machine Remy programmes the cuticle is intact and aligned root to tip. That is what separates Remy from non-Remy commercial hair, where cuticles run in both directions and are usually stripped with acid and re-coated with silicone to hide the tangle.
Which constructions can be made in Commercial Machine Remy?
Genius Weft, machine weft, hand-tied rows, tape-in, K-Tip, I-Tip, nano tips, clip-in sets and bulk hair for your own manufacturing. The grade is a hair specification; the construction is a separate decision.
What drawn ratios do you offer?
Single drawn, 50–70% double drawn and full double drawn. Drawn ratio decides how thick the hair stays at the ends and it is the single biggest driver of price at the same length and shade. We write the ratio into the specification so it does not quietly change on the reorder.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Trial: 300g per shade (1kg total), two colours, 1kg total. Wholesale: 3kg to 10kg. Private label: from 10kg. Lead time depends on shade development, and we confirm it in writing at quotation rather than promising a fixed date here.
How do you make the reorder match the first order?
Every production run carries a batch record: lot, drawn ratio, colour recipe, development time, weft or bond specification and QC sign-off. The sample you approved is retained here and the next run is compared against it before it is packed.
How should I test a sample?
Wash it ten times with normal salon shampoo, blow-dry and iron it between washes, then check the ends and the mid-lengths. Weigh it wet. Brush a wet strand. If the hair only behaves for three washes, it was fast-processed or coated. Then place a small repeat order and compare the two side by side — that is the test most suppliers fail.

Why we do not sell 100g trial bundles
We have deliberately moved away from the 100–200g sample model. A single bundle is installed on one or two clients, so one experience becomes the whole judgement of the product. It shows nothing about how a shade repeats, how two batches compare, or how the hair behaves after repeated washing in a working salon.
A 1kg commercial trial covers roughly ten to twelve client applications across two shades. It gives you feedback from paying clients, a view of consistency across a meaningful quantity, and a proper read on how the product performs in your market. The hair in a 1kg trial is taken from the same sorting tables as a 20kg production run, so there is no separate sample standard to be disappointed by later.
We are the manufacturer, not a trading desk placing bundles with twenty buyers at once. We work with established salons, extension specialists, distributors and brands who already know their methods, lengths and shades, and who want one accountable source instead of a continuous supplier search.
