Testing · Buyer protocol
Weak hair reveals itself in week three.
Every supplier passes the first wash. The hair that ruins a salon's reputation passes wash one, two and three, then collapses once the finish is gone and the client has already paid. So do not judge a sample by how it looks out of the packet. Judge it by how it behaves after ten washes, heat, tension and repetition. Here is the test we run on our own lots, written out so you can run it on anyone's.
- Ten washes, with heat and tension between them, on a real head or a block.
- Judge the fibre wet, not dry. Finish hides everything until it is gone.
- Count shed, watch colour drift, and check the seam or bond under brushing.
- Run the same test on your current supplier and on ours, side by side.

How we supply it.
Why we publish it
A buyer who can test properly is a buyer we can keep. We would rather lose an order on a test than win one and lose the account in month three.
What we are protecting
Slow colour development and aligned cuticle cost us time and yield. This test is the only place that spend becomes visible to you.
Test us against anyone
Run the same protocol on the hair you buy today. Same washes, same heat, same brush. Then compare the wet feel.
Buyer Questions
Straight answers.
How do I test hair extensions before buying in bulk?
Take a small piece, wash it ten times the way a client actually would, add heat and tension between washes, and look at wet behaviour rather than dry shine. Most hair that fails in month three already shows it by wash seven. This page is the test written out step by step so you can run it on any supplier's sample, including ours.
Why ten washes?
Silicone and conditioning finish survives two or three washes. By wash ten the coating is gone and you are finally looking at the hair itself. That is where over-processing, mixed lots and reversed cuticle show up.
What does wet hair tell you that dry hair does not?
Dry hair can be made to look excellent with finish. Wet, the fibre cannot hide: you feel whether it is smooth in one direction and rough in the other, whether it swells and turns spongy, and how much weight it gains and holds.
What counts as a fail?
Matting at the mid lengths, a sponge-like feel when wet, colour drifting warm or dull, a rising amount of shed with each wash, and bonds or weft seams giving way under normal brushing. Any one of those in the first ten washes will be a complaint in a salon.
Will you send hair to be tested this way?
Yes, that is what the trial is for. 300g per shade (1kg total), two colours, 1kg in total. Test it hard, and if it passes, that exact piece becomes the reference we match every reorder against.

Professional ordering
Start your first wholesale order.
Professional salons already know their preferred methods, colours, lengths and client demand. Start with the volume your salon already needs for Ten wash test.
Independent salons
1kg
Start with the product and shade mix your current clients already need.
Growing salons
1–2kg
Build a working colour and length range around regular appointments.
Established high-demand salons
3–5kg+
Plan repeat supply against your monthly installation volume.
The smallest professional order is 1kg total. Product and shade mix are agreed before quotation. Wholesale supply is quoted to one written specification.
Why we do not sell 100g trial bundles
We have deliberately moved away from the 100–200g sample model. A single bundle is installed on one or two clients, so one experience becomes the whole judgement of the product. It shows nothing about how a shade repeats, how two batches compare, or how the hair behaves after repeated washing in a working salon.
A 1kg commercial trial covers roughly ten to twelve client applications across two shades. It gives you feedback from paying clients, a view of consistency across a meaningful quantity, and a proper read on how the product performs in your market. The hair in a 1kg trial is taken from the same sorting tables as a 20kg production run, so there is no separate sample standard to be disappointed by later.
We are the manufacturer, not a trading desk placing bundles with twenty buyers at once. We work with established salons, extension specialists, distributors and brands who already know their methods, lengths and shades, and who want one accountable source instead of a continuous supplier search.

How we sell, before you ask.
1kg+
First wholesale order. Product and shade mix agreed before quotation.
3–10kg
Wholesale band, quoted per specification.
10kg+
Private label with your own packaging.
50kg+
Monthly distributor programme with held reference lot.
Every quote we send is already the net factory price for that specification and quantity. There is no retail markup to discount from, so we do not run percentage discounts — the price moves only when the specification or the quantity moves.
Tell us your kilos per month when you write. It is the one line that changes the quote. Express air freight is usually 3–6 days door to door.

The protocol
Run it exactly like a client would.
Nothing here needs laboratory equipment. It needs a basin, a brush, a dryer, an iron and ten days of honesty.
- 01
Weigh and photograph dry
Record the starting weight of the piece and take one photograph in daylight against a white card. Everything later is compared to this, not to memory.
- 02
Wash, without shortcuts
Shampoo and condition the way the client will, rinse fully, and towel the same way each time. Do not use a mask that is not part of the normal routine.
- 03
Add heat and tension
Blow dry and section brush from the ends upward, then iron or curl. Heat plus tension plus repetition is what an extension actually lives through.
- 04
Collect the shed
Keep the hair that comes out of the brush and the basin after each wash, in a marked envelope per wash. Rising shed across the ten is the clearest fail signal there is.
- 05
Judge it wet at wash five and ten
Run it between your fingers from root to point and back. Smooth one way and rough the other means aligned cuticle. Rough both ways, or sponge-like swelling, means over-processing.
- 06
Recheck colour and weight
Photograph again in the same daylight against the same card and reweigh. Compare drift and weight loss against the starting record, not against the packet.
Reading the result
What each symptom is telling you.
Symptoms are not random. Each one points back to a specific decision made in production.
| What you see | What it usually means | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Feels excellent for three washes, then dulls | Conditioning finish, not fibre quality | Hair coated to sell, not processed to last |
| Matting at the mid lengths | Cuticle running in both directions | Hair collected loose and never aligned |
| Spongy, swollen feel when wet | The cortex is stripped | Fast, high strength bleaching to hit a shade quickly |
| Shed rising with each wash | Weak seam, weak bond or stressed fibre | Rushed weft finishing or over-processed hair |
| Colour drifting warm or muddy | Pigment sitting on damaged hair | Toner covering a lift that went too far |
| Ends thinning while the top stays thick | Single drawn sold as double drawn | A drawn level that was never written down |
| Two bundles of one shade look different | No held reference lot | Matched to a printed chart instead of approved hair |
Our side of it
What we check before a lot is packed.
| Check | How it is done | Result recorded |
|---|---|---|
| Cuticle direction | Wet finger test on samples pulled from the lot | Pass or reject, per lot |
| Colour against reference | Compared wet and dry against your approved held piece | Matched or re-run |
| Weight per piece | Weighed, not estimated | Grams per piece and per bundle |
| Seam and bond hold | Brushed and pulled under tension | Pass or reject |
| Length curve | Sorted and counted by length before finishing | Kilos per length |
| Lot record | Lot number written on the label and kept here | Traceable if you complain |
