Kaluga & Slavic-labelled hair
Paying a Slavic price? Ask what you are actually buying.
Salon owners and small brands keep telling us the same thing: the price of Slavic-labelled hair has climbed to a level their clients can no longer carry, and nothing about the hair itself has changed to justify it. That is a fair question to ask out loud. What buyers are really paying for is a result — fine texture, cool light shades, soft movement — and a story about where the hair came from. The result is testable. The story usually is not, unless the supplier is willing to put donor origin in writing and stand behind it.
- Ask any supplier, including us, to state donor origin in writing on the invoice or specification sheet.
- Judge the hair by a ten-wash test, a colour service and an install, not by a country name on a label.
- Fine, cool, light hair is a processing achievement as much as a raw-material one.
- We have been developing colour with slow low-strength bleaching in our own factory since 2014-15.
- Trial 1kg total, wholesale terms from 3kg, private label from 10kg, programme supply from 50kg a month.

RemyPatra Hair Group
How we supply it.
Price has moved. The hair has not.
Buyers who were quoting this category a few years ago now see multiples of what they used to pay, with the same construction and the same lengths. If a price doubles, something should have improved: donor evidence, colour life, shed rate, reorder consistency. Ask your supplier which of those changed, and ask for it in writing.
Origin should be evidence, not a word
A great deal of hair in the global trade is collected in Asia and finished elsewhere, and a label applied after processing proves nothing. We do not ask you to take our word either: we state the origin of the lot, we keep the lot record, and we let you test the hair before you commit a single kilo.
The colour science is the real product
Fine cool blondes and ash browns come from slow, low-strength lifting over long baths, not from fast harsh bleaching. We have run that process on our own lines since 2014-15, which is why our light shades still behave at month six rather than giving up in six to eight months.
India is not the weak link
Indian hair has supplied this industry for decades, including a great deal of hair that reaches the client under a different name. The difference between a good and a bad lot is sorting, cuticle direction, colour development and quality control. All four of those sit in our own factory, and that is what we sell.
The reorder test
We keep the reference lot you approved and match every later run against it. Colour, weight and construction repeat, so your price list and your client promises survive the second order.
What your client can afford
A salon can only sell hair its clients will re-buy. Factory-direct pricing on a written specification gives you room to keep a real margin at a price your chair can carry, instead of losing the client to the cost of the category.
Buyer Questions
Straight answers.
Is your hair Slavic?
No, and we will not tell you it is. We supply Indian hair, sorted by texture before processing and lifted slowly to fine cool shades. If genuine Slavic hair is what you need, buy it from someone who will state the donor origin in writing. If what you actually need is the look and the behaviour, test ours beside it.
Why is Slavic-labelled hair so expensive now?
We cannot speak for other companies' pricing. What we can say is what sits inside our own number: raw intake, sorting labour, colour cycles, weft or bond finishing, quality control and freight. We will break that down for you, so you can see what you are paying for instead of guessing.
How do I check a supplier's origin claim?
Ask for donor origin in writing on the specification and invoice, ask which factory processed it, ask for the lot record, and then test the hair: ten washes, a colour service, an install and a wet-fibre check. A supplier who cannot answer the first three and fails the fourth is selling a label.
How long have you been developing colour yourselves?
Since 2014-15 on our own lines, which is unusual in Asia, where most colour work is subcontracted out. Technicians and buyers from Europe, including Russia and Ukraine, have visited to see how we run the slow bleaching process.
What is the minimum order?
The first wholesale order starts from 1kg total, with the product and shade mix agreed before quotation. Wholesale terms apply from 3kg per order. Private label and OEM start at 10kg.
Can I test the hair before I commit?
Yes. Order a trial in the two shades you sell most, wash it, colour it, install it, and keep the approved piece. We hold the same reference sample here, so every reorder is matched against the hair you already accepted.
Are you the manufacturer or a trading company?
We own the Indian factory. Sorting, washing, colouring and weft finishing happen on our own lines, and our own quality control checks each lot before it is packed for export.
How do you ship and how long does it take?
Express air freight, usually 3 to 6 days door to door, with the export paperwork prepared by us. We ship to the USA, Canada, the UK, the EU, Australia and the Gulf.

Why we do not sell 100g trial bundles
We have deliberately moved away from the 100–200g sample model. A single bundle is installed on one or two clients, so one experience becomes the whole judgement of the product. It shows nothing about how a shade repeats, how two batches compare, or how the hair behaves after repeated washing in a working salon.
A 1kg commercial trial covers roughly ten to twelve client applications across two shades. It gives you feedback from paying clients, a view of consistency across a meaningful quantity, and a proper read on how the product performs in your market. The hair in a 1kg trial is taken from the same sorting tables as a 20kg production run, so there is no separate sample standard to be disappointed by later.
We are the manufacturer, not a trading desk placing bundles with twenty buyers at once. We work with established salons, extension specialists, distributors and brands who already know their methods, lengths and shades, and who want one accountable source instead of a continuous supplier search.
